Samantha Sayegh
Associate Attorney

Samantha H. Sayegh is a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley and an associate attorney at the firm. As a former Senior Assistant District Attorney for the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office, she skillfully handled misdemeanor and felony cases throughout the legal process from investigation and discovery proceedings to hearings, trials, and sentencing. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor and in addition to her legal practice at the firm, she presently teaches law as a Visiting Professor at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
James P. McEleney
Associate Attorney

James P. McEleney graduated cum laude from Vermont Law School and began his legal career with a clerkship for the Hon. Douglas A. Brady in the US Virgin Islands, drafting judicial opinions and mediating complex corporate disputes. Mr. McEleney was born and raised in the Hudson Valley, has served as a Public Defender and prior to joining the firm, practiced law in the private sector. Having practiced law in New York City and appeared on behalf of his clients in every borough of New York City, Mr. McEleney has more recently represented clients in civil litigation, contested matrimonial and family law matters and criminal defense here in the Hudson Valley. Over the past several years, Mr. McEleney has won numerous contested proceedings including achieving a not guilty verdict for a man facing life in prison. Mr. McEleney represents the firm’s clients in complex civil litigation, matrimonial and family law litigation, criminal defense and, as a skilled trial attorney, has resolved numerous cases and disputes.
Tracy Reimann

Tracy Christen Reimann has been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 1988. Ms. Reimann’s practice at the firm is directed towards estate planning, business succession planning, elder care planning, estate administration and guardianship proceedings including the litigation of related matters. She is skilled in the drafting, structuring and funding of a wide range of estate planning vehicles such as qualified personal residence trusts, life insurance trusts, limited liability companies, family limited partnership agreements, irrevocable income only trusts and revocable trusts.

Zena Dubas

Zena Dubas is a Senior Attorney with The Law Firm of William G. Sayegh, PC. Zena has a concentration in her law practice with residential and commercial real estate,including purchase and sale agreements, institutional lender representation, leases,and due diligence review of title. Zena regularly represents the firm’s individual, corporate and institutional clients. Zena prepares and negotiates contracts,riders, addendums, and provides intense personal attention to each of her clients throughout the entire transaction process. Zena is also experienced in and zealously represents the firm’s clients in civil litigation, matrimonial litigation, Family Court proceedings and criminal defense.
Robert Weis

Robert A. Weis has concentrated in the practice of negligence and insurance law, both at the trial and appellate levels, in State and Federal Courts for over twenty years. In addition to commercial claims, he has extensive experience in the litigation of personal injury claims, professional malpractice claims, medical malpractice claims and related common law and statutory claims. He has served many of the largest casualty insurance companies, in addition to many of the larger self-insurers, as trial and appellate counsel.
William Sayegh
Founder/Principal Attorney

William G. Sayegh, the founder of the firm, has strong ties to the Hudson Valley region and is very benevolent to many local organizations. A former Bronx County Prosecutor, he is an experienced trial lawyer who began his career by successfully prosecuting and defending criminal cases involving murder, arson, rape, sale of controlled substances, and RICO, and is skilled in direct and cross-examination of FBI agents, forensics experts, pathologists, doctors, lawyers, police, military officers and servicemen, and experts in blood spattering, fingerprinting and DNA.
